You cannot get your car loan to show on any credit bureau not used by your lender.

You should find a lender that (1) checks Transunion, and (2) reports to Equifax and Experian. Borrow money from that lender (or refinance your car loan using that lender). Because they check TransUnion, you will (hopefully) be approved. Because they report to Equifax and Experian, you will have a credit history file at those bureaus, and will be able to obtain loans in the future from lenders that only check with those bureaus.

They are correct. Each company has to apply and be accepted to each of the Credit Bureaus. Many companies only apply to one or two and not all three. This is why each credit report will be different.

Something you can do is freeze your credit file with Ex and Eq. That will force potential lenders to pull Transunion. Just make sure it is what you want to do because when you freeze them, you can’t apply for any instant credit at all.

You can’t. They only report to Transunion. They aren’t required to report anywhere.

You are entitled to see your credit report for free 3 times per year, once from each of the 3 credit bureaus.

Option A] If you go back to annualcreditreport.com you should be able to see your report again from the 2 remaining bureaus which you did not see the first time.

Option B] Ask a parent/friend if you can use their credit card to purchase your credit report and pay them back with a check/cash.

Option C] Call the bureaus and ask to send them a check

Option D] Go to a local bank and apply for credit, by law they should have to provide you with a copy of the credit report they pulled for you. (I do not recommend this option, check with the bank to see if they will do this for you, and it will likely hurt your credit score)

Option E] Wait ’til next year.

A debit card should also work to purchase items online (debit cards are linked to your checking account and generally withdrawal money directly from your checking account).

Printing a copy of your credit report when you get it might be a good idea, just keep in a safe place or dispose of after use.

AnnualCreditReprt.com was created by the FTC to give out one’s credit reports from the three major credit bureaus once per year. If you still have your original reports you can do online disputes on each of the bureaus’ web sites using the report number you got. If there are changes (after the dispute) then you will be able to get a copy of the updated credit report once the changes are made.

Sites like FreeCreditReport.com give you access to a report and score, but only for a free trial period (30 days), and you need to enter in your debit card or credit card details. And if you forget to cancel the account you will be charged.

I’m not surprised. Equifax is by far the most incompetent of the three U.S. credit bureaus. Send them a copy of your previous Equifax report and ask for an explanation. Also file a complaint with the FTC and your state AG’s office or equivalent consumer protection agency.

That sometimes happens , because they have millions and people with same name and birthdays.

They don’t all report credit changes at the same time. It can take between 30-60 days for the changes to post.
