Answer by mich
no, you must have given them permission to take out of your account.use annualcreditreport.com -that’s the official site.if you obtained your credit score, most companies charge for that, but it’s at least $ 5.00I’d call Experian and ask them about removing your money without permission

Question by sap: Recently I disputed a negative item on Experian CR and they deleted? How to get it deleted from Equifax & TRAN
I have heard that if credit buero dont delete the account then the dispute becomes active and the accounts remains on the CR for next 10 years.Since experian already deleted it? Is there a way I can get it deleted from other credit reports by sending them the experian corrected report? Thanks in advance.

Best answer:

Answer by Beverly S
No you need to dispute it just like you did on Experian. The dispute does not stay for 10 years- its 7.5 years after last activity. However keep in mind if Experian deleted just because the creditor did not respond within 30 days- the item may show back up if the creditor proves its owed. I kind of get the impression that you don’t think it really should have been deleted? If it is really something you don’t owe, just write to TransUnion & Equifax & dispute.

Question by chesspl: How is the “Average Account Age” in the Equifax credit report calculated?
I have a combination of Open, Closed, Revolving, consolidated and unconsolidated student loans, and a couple credit cards I have never used. I have averaged these in many different ways but have not yet arrived at the “Average Account Age” that is reported in the Equifax credit report. For those who haven’t purchased their report, a “average account age” is given, and the longer it is, the better for one’s credit score. Hopefully someone who has a simpler credit history can shed some light on how it is calculated. Thanks!

Best answer:

Answer by RantingLover
Have you calculated the developed without your closed accounts? If you haven’t I would try that as the credit bureaus worn’t count closed accounts in the average age of your credit file.
